Saucy Senorita

This saucy senorita's skirt is a handkerchief!

Dream Green

Check out this new green batting!  It's produced by Quilters Dream.  Called Dream Green, it is 100% polyester made from recycled plastic bottles.  It comes in 9 sizes, and for each size, the label tells how many bottles were diverted from the landfill.  For example, a queen size batting at 93" x 108" contains 20 bottles.  The pale green batting is soft and flat, similar to an all cotton batt, very nice to work with.

Quilts in my studio

Don't miss my Stimulus Special Coupon!  It's good until April 30, 2009.

Pacific Rim Quilt
Autumn Splendor Quilt.  My friend Margaret Kay shares a sewing studio with me.  She has a box of scraps that I love to pick through, and one day I found a pile of courthouse steps blocks. I sewed them together and added the applique border, and presto!  One of my favorite quilts.
Streak of Lightning Quilt.  All scraps, freeform piecing.
Ships in the Night.  This is my own pattern.  I've made 5 or 6 of these quilts, different colors.
